The benefits of sound baths

Sound baths had such a profound, positive impact on my own healing. Yet, now I know so much more about them than simply being a nice form of relaxation, the length and breadth of benefits they bring is truly incredible.

These are just some of the benefits that people have been known to experience:

  • Deep relaxation

  • Improved sleep

  • Reduced or cleared brain-fog

  • Reduced fatigue

  • Pain management, such as fibromyalgia

  • Reduction of anxiety and stress

  • Lower number of anxiety or panic attacks

  • Supports the body during chemotherapy treatment

  • Gentle release of emotional trauma

  • Improved mental wellness and outlook

And of course, unlike a massage, you don't need to be touched - you simply lie in comfort as the sounds wash over you. This makes it a wonderful therapy for people who don't like the thought of a stranger touching them, but need to experience the benefit.

It's important to note that one session won't fix everything, much like going to the gym won't suddenly make you fit as a fiddle (sadly!) Instead, it's better seen as something you do regularly to reach a goal,

For the more serious or chronic health concerns, I'd also advise 1-to-1 sessions and to check with your doctor that they feel it is suitable for you. Although group sound baths will absolutely still be beneficial, private sound baths enable me to support you in a far more personalised way specifically targeting the challenges you face in a safe, nurturing space.

As always, please feel free to message me with any questions.

Much love,

Kathryn x
